Dear friends and partners:
Greetings in the name of Jesus, the name that is above all other names. Thank you for your continued love and support of One Hope Outreach Ministry as we preach the gospel of God’s great love and deliverance.
The gospel message is the only message on planet earth that has the power to transform lives for all eternity. It is imperative that every venue made available is used to proclaim the good news to all of mankind.
Jesus said in John 4:35 [KJV], ‘say not ye, there are four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”
Today, eight of ten Americans agree that religion is losing influence in our public life. Church attendance continues to decline, and the percentage of those without religious affiliation is at an all-time high.
Throughout American history, religious [church] congregations have been a vital source of community life and civic engagement. A healthy church congregation helps foster truth, trust, and honest hard work that is essential for a healthy social structure. Studies consistently show religiously active Americans are more likely to vote, volunteer for non-religious organizations, and report higher levels of happiness and fulfillment in everyday day.
Again, Jesus said in Matthew 9:38 [KJV], “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.” Today, make a decision to be a part of a local church congregation, big or small, and become one of the laborers that are working to bring in the harvest. You may be surprised at what your positive Christian influence will have on your community.
