Dear friends and partners:

Thank you for your support of One Hope Outreach Ministry, as we answer the call to carry the good news of the gospel to the ends of the earth.

The year 2023 seems to be moving ahead so quickly. We are already three months into it and Springtime is near. It is always refreshing to see new life springing forth in the trees and other plants.

We are continually reminded that times and seasons change on a regular trek, because that is the way God decided it should be. But though these things change, the one who created them never does.

In the New Testament, the writer, James, says of God that there is no variation or shadow of turning in Him (James 1:17 NKJV). In other words, God is forever steadfast, unchangeable and always keeps His promises.

God is never changed by circumstances or situations, the turmoil of humanity, political upheaval nor the saber rattling of nations. He is not affected with evil nor does He tempt or influence any man to sin.

The aforementioned verse also states that every good gift and every perfect gift comes from above, down from the Father of lights.

In many ways the blessings of God are dispensed upon the good and evil. The sun and the rain, the moon, sun, and stars are there for the good, and benefit, and enjoyment of the inhabitants of the earth.

The creator (God) of all these things is eternally the same, forever expressing Himself in measures of goodness to mankind. His good will toward man is permanent.

His ultimate expression of Goodness toward humanity is found in the death of His Son, Jesus Christ, as a sacrifice and final payment for the sins of every man.

It is God’s desire to have a personal relationship with every person of His creation. His loving mercies are upon every person and nation of people throughout the whole earth.

His charge to the church (His disciples) (all believers in Jesus Christ) is to carry His good news (the gospel) to every nation. The good news is the way to be reconciled to God and have a personal relationship with Him through the acceptance of His Son’s sacrifice.

If you have never received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, just pray a simple prayer. “Jesus, come into my heart. Forgive me of my sins. Take my life and do something with it.” I repent (turn away) from rejecting your good plan for my life. I turn from every evil thing. I receive you by faith as my Savior and Lord.

Dear friends and partners:

I want to thank you for your partnership with One Hope Outreach Ministry. Your prayers and support are making an impact around the world as we broadcast the gospel through various means. God has joined us as a team to work for a greater harvest.

Have you ever considered yourself as a building block, precious stone, or an important building component in God’s house? The house of God is a place that He has chosen to dwell. A church is sometimes called the house of God. The church is not a building made up of bricks, mortar, and stone. It is a company of people made up of individuals who are believers in Christ, (Christians).

The apostle Paul calls this dwelling place of God, the holy temple in the Lord, Where the people of God are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. (Ephesians 2:21,22 (KJV).

Believers are a house or (temple) inhabited by God through the Holy Spirit. The apostle Peter says, “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 2:5 (KJV).

Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of this house, made up of living stones. He is the precious living stone. Born again believers are possessors of His life and are living stones which constitute a spiritual house.

The miraculous work of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer is to transform he or she into a living temple, a dwelling place of God.

The moment any person exercises saving faith in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit regenerates the spirit of that individual and baptizes him into Christ, the head of the church and into union with other believers in the body of Christ (the church). (Galatians 3:27---1st Corinthians 12:12,13 (KJV).

It is God’s design that every believer to be connected to the rest of the body of Christ. It is also His design that everyone is fitly joined together (fitted). Just as a stone in any sturdy building is an integral part of the building’s strength, so is every fitly joined lively stone in the building called God’s house.

The apostle Paul once again says, “But we shall lovingly hold to the truth, and shall in all respects grow up into union with Him who is our Head, even Christ. Dependent on Him, the whole body—its various parts closely fitting and firmly adhering to one another— grows by the aid of every contributory link, with power proportioned to the need of each individual part, so as to build itself up in a spirit of love.”

(Ephesians 4:15,16 (WEY).

It is incumbent upon every believer to allow the Holy Spirit to fit us in His plan so that a greater harvest can be reaped as we work together.

Dear friends and partners:

One Hope Outreach Ministry extends our heartfelt thanks to God for you as you offer up prayers and support as we seek to fulfill His will in preaching the gospel. We thank you for partnering with us as we work the fields of kingdom harvest.

With the new year now in full swing there are fresh opportunities to pursue.

We must remain vigilant and ready to seize the opportunities for developing in our spiritual walk with the Lord. The Christian’s love for God and to grow in the knowledge of His word require a diligent and constant pursuit. Our desire for a greater understanding of His person and ways should be the top priority for not just the new year of 2023 but for every day of life.

Every time we experience something new in our relationship with Jesus Christ we rejoice and are glad but the good news is there is always more because He is so great.

The Apostle Paul says in Philippians 3:13 [AMP], “I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own (yet); but one thing I do - it is my aspiration: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead.”

We must not be sidelined by failure or shortfall of the past, but rather press into the great victories that lie ahead.

May the new year of 2023 find us all together in full pursuit of His will and purpose for everyday life.
