Dear friends and partners:

Greetings to all our friends and partners of One Hope Outreach Ministry. As we celebrate what God has done throughout the past year and as we enter into this Christmas season, we are very thankful for your continued prayers and support as we share the love of Jesus around the world.

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, may we remember the true reason why we celebrate. The birth of Jesus, His life on earth, His atoning work on the cross, resurrection from the dead and ascension into heaven are all supernatural acts of God. The advent of a virgin giving birth to the Messiah and His atoning work on the cross was all foretold by the prophets of the Old Testament. And never, throughout history of mankind has a more beautiful story been told.

The four gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke and John present Jesus Christ as God become flesh; Deity and humanity united in one flesh. And to those who know Jesus as redeemer from all sins have no question about His Divinity. But there are multitudes who disallow the virgin birth and claim that He was only human. However, one need only to look at the aforementioned miraculous birth, scan through the recorded pages of His sinless life, look at His sacrificial death on the cross and ascension to the Father to realize He was more than just a man, indeed He was God made flesh as He dwelt among men.

Without the babe in a manger in Bethlehem of Judea, the miracle worker of Galilee and the crucified, resurrected Christ of Calvary the Christian claim of a new life in Him would not be possible, rather it would just be a religious experiment. But to those who do believe the gospels it is more than a religious experiment, it is an experience of His life changing power. And because of His life changing power, we find ourselves bowing before the Christ that was born in a manger so many years ago and adoring Him as our God and Savior.

It is a great honor to write each month and let you know how much One Hope Outreach Ministry appreciates your prayers and generous giving. As the ministry reaches into the darkness of this world to help those in need. your prayers and financial support are a joining of your hearts and hands with us to carry the gospel to the world. Proverbs 19:17 says, “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.”

The sewing school as well as the children’s school is up and running and is progressing quite well. The children are learning their educational basics and are eager to learn even more new things. They are also learning to sing elementary songs about Jesus.

At present, the one-day, monthly, medical physician just completed his second, one day visit to help those in need of the basic care. We are so grateful for his contribution and willingness to provide his professional help to those of less fortunate circumstances.

The community clean water well project has been completed and the people of the brick kiln area are now able to have clean water to drink and to use for cleaning and cooking purposes.

There have been two hundred reported to have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

The need is great but God is always greater than the need. Thank you again, partners for your generous help in reaching out with the love and compassion of Jesus.

Thank you for joining hands with One Hope Outreach Ministry every day with your prayers and financial support. As you support the work of this ministry you are helping us carry the gospel to those in need.

The Bible, in the book of Acts 1:3 says that after Jesus’ crucifixion, burial and resurrection, “He showed Himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them for forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.” He said to His disciples on the last day of His forty-day appearance, “you shall be witness of me unto the utmost parts of the world,” (This author’s paraphrase).

As followers of Jesus, One Hope Outreach Ministry has extended its ministry to the country of Pakistan. The ministry there is to one of the many brick kiln areas. The brick kilns are places of very impoverished people that are living in slavish like conditions. The men, women and children are usually under-nourished over-worked and sometimes very horribly treated.

One Hope Outreach Ministry recently provided medical supplies for a one-day medical clinic that helped some of the people with basic care. We also supplied sewing machines and started a sewing school for the women. They are learning to make and mend clothes for their families and others. Also, your support has enabled us to start a school for the children. There are currently thirty-seven enrolled in the learning sessions. A well for fresh drinking water is needed so the people can have clean, healthy water. One Hope is currently planning to have a new well drilled that will service the community of people near the brick kiln.

Thank you once again for your contributions and prayers. That is what enables us to answer the call to share the good news of the gospel.
